** A collection of articles and other fun stuff from around the web. Mostly dealing with babies, parenting, moms, etc. But not always. **

Transporter of delight: Happiness is in your DNA; and different races may have different propensities for it (fascinating; and also, I wonder what this means about Addie’s chances?)
Sleep disruption for breastfed babies is temporary (this didn’t seem possible when she was only three months old, but now that she’s sleeping through the night and napping great, I can attest that this is true. thank. god.)
12 Things I Wish I Knew Before I Had a Toddler (trying to prepare myself for toddler Adeline… it’s coming so soon…)
Oh, I remember this well! Actually, it still goes on. At first as a new mom I was eager to make friends. I quickly realized that it wasn’t easy for me-like your vaccination story-but ultimately found some great friends who have stuck with me for 15 years! After kids entered school there was some adjusting, since baby friends got spread around. Then, there are sports friends, classes friends, and friends without kids-that one is interesting. Now I’m WAY more particular about who I spend my precious free time with!
