Here’s the thing, Adeline. 4:45 A.M. is not actually the morning. It’s really the middle of the night. And just so we’re clear, 4:15 A.M. is definitely not morning, and while 5:15 A.M. is getting a little warmer, that’s not really morning either.
If you keep waking up this early every. freaking. morning I may just have to take that adorable little teddy bear from your crib and rip the arms off of it. I’ve heard that does wonders.
Now if you’ll excuse me I’ll just go back to attempting to study for the bar exam. You know, that uber-important exam that’s a mere three weeks from today. That exam that I have to pass if I want to actually work at this new job of mine. That exam that’s so boring to study for that I tend to fall asleep studying even on a full night of sleep. Yeah, that exam.
Adeline, for the love of god, mama needs some sleep.

I… KIND of feel your pain. Although I am not studying for an exam that is important for my future job, as you are.. I feel like I’m a zombie these days. Being a stay at home mom to my
8 month old and three year old, when my 8 month old decides she wants to wake up screaming bloody murder probably every half hour – 45 minutes.. it’s draining. I don’t know HOW you concentrate on studying being that tired!!
Good luck.. it’ll all pay off in the end!
Squish has decided that 5:30am is prime playtime. I disagree. I feel your pain.
Yeah, I feel this. My baby has been getting up regularly at 4:00 am. By the time I am able to get him back down, I need to get up again. It’s so painful.
Oh I feel the same way sometimes when Jacob wakes up a hundred times at night! Though he’s getting better and sleeping a lot earlier, sometimes he wakes up 5 in the morning and crawls around! My gosh! Waking up so early!
