Did I mention I started a photography business?
My friend, Vanessa, and I decided that we both love taking pictures, we have some free time, and we’re pretty smart chicks, so we should probably start a photography business. A week and a half later and I’ve already done my first photo shoot!
This is baby Anna, an adorable three-week old who I was lucky enough to photograph this morning. She’s so cute! (Can I rename this post “Baby Fever”??)
My career counselor commented on the speed with which I’ve managed to set up this business. Apparently that’s a sign of passion. The other sign is probably that I’ve been having a freaking blast doing this. The idea has been floating around at the back of my mind for months now, and Vanessa gave me the kick-start I needed to actually do it. Check out our Facebook page to see more shots and some of Vanessa’s work.
Adeline turned 18 months yesterday, which is kind of beyond belief. Of course, I had to document it in photos. We went to the Botanic Gardens, which Adeline adores. We were there for almost two hours and we could have stayed much longer. Adeline just wandered around, explored and took off her shoes and ran around barefoot. I love it there – it’s not too crowded, it’s quiet and peaceful, and there’s even water! (Water is seriously lacking in Denver. It makes my heart hurt.)
Yay! I love beautiful photos.

I am working on a similar idea myself… https://www.facebook.com/pages/Your-Moments-Photography/371668240655 Great photos and good luck with your business!
Congratulations!!! Passion goes a long way to making things happen! I am friends with a few baby photogs here in NYC — it’s all about the props (I mean beyond your talent and eye of course!).
Oh wow! Congrats on the new business! Your pictures are always so good, it makes perfect sense.
