** A week’s worth of the photos I took when my phone was handy and my camera was not. In other words, all the times when we were having spontaneous, real-life fun! **

Grilling out on our new rooftop deck. Love!

Adeline ate all the watermelon, then proceeded to drink the water from the watermelon container. Obviously, she LOVES watermelon.

Catdog and Steve. Sleeping.

Outlaw Mama’s daughter’s birthday party! Making pizza!

And making cupcakes. With blue frosting.

Yep, blue frosting everywhere. The good news is, it all washed out!

Adeline loves garbage trucks – she was distracted from playing while this one went down the alley across from the playground.

Keeping cool at the splash park just a few blocks from our place

Adeline and her doggy. She always walks Catdog when we go out and people freaking love it. I’ve literally seen people stop and just watch the cuteness as we go by.

Sleeping in her big girl bed.

#photoadayjuly a #stranger walking by, as seen from our front balcony

Rocking out her cool kid look, hanging out on the balcony

An amazing anniversary dinner at Charlie Trotter’s

The duck course. Delicious.

The first dessert (of three)

Hanging out in the kitchen

Our menu from the evening

Adeline’s first trip to Zara was a success! Yay Chicago shopping!

Addie and Stevie, cuddling in her bed

Turns out, Addie actually CAN fit in her little toy shopping cart. Damn.

An awesome morning at a playground downtown

A splash park!!! Wow I’m so jealous!!! We have over 90°F since a few days and although it’s fine with me, my son doesn’t really like it. A splash park would be amazing for him. And I’m also jealous of the menu at Charlie Trotter’s
We have our 2 year anniversary this Tuesday and we’ll having dinner at a nice restaurant directly at a small river arm and go to the movies afterwards. Sounds so unspectecular but mommys know that something this doens’t happen weekly anymore! Your high heels are… really high. Could never walk on those. Looks fantastic
