Well people, it finally happened: I pitched Huff Post and they took my post! It only took about fifteen unsuccessful pitches so keep trying!
My post is up today, which is kind of an incredible feeling. I’m talking about why it’s a bad idea to use the phrase “You’re making mama sad” as a discipline tool. You can read it here.
If you love me, you’ll read it. If you REALLY love me, you’ll comment over there. And be nice
Congrats! Good for you!
I would love to know the nuts and bolts of how you made this happen.
Congratulations! I’m going over there right now!
Congrats!!!
I just got the chance to read it. Great post! I wonder about saying things like, “you’ve really disappointed me” Is that teaching a similar lesson? Maybe. But, I also think it is teaching that what we do and say does affect others. But, I like how you commented that one single moment will not make or break a child for a lifetime. That was something I needed to hear today. Thanks!
Congrats! I just read your post and loved it. Persistence definitely paid off…another great lesson.
A topic worth reflection. Congrads on post.
Congrats!!!
